Jennifer is an award-winning broadcast journalist, reporting from around the world for BBC TV and radio, Channel Four News and ITN. As ITV's Home Affairs Editor she led a team of correspondents and was responsible for numerous exclusives. 

 

Her report from Bosnia on the use of rape as a weapon of war was broadcast around the world and used by war crimes investigators.Her book on gender based violence is credited with helping to shift UK law as well as being made into a film and documentary. Her work has also appeared in many of the UK's national newspapers.

 

Subjects covered include gender, equity, compassion, social justice, faith, burnout, menopause and politics inside and outside Westminster.

 

She is also a published novelist and the author of three non-fiction books including the Sunday Times Bestseller, WE: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere, co-written with Gillian Anderson. Her poetry has been shortlisted for the National Poetry Prize and twice for the  Bridport Prize and her short script on gender based violence was performed in the West End.
